So.

"They say that motivation doesn't last, but neither does bathing, That's why it's reccomended daily."

I was pretty pumped after that last post. But it is so easy to get discouraged. Recently found the quote above, wrote it on a post-it, and stuck it on my mirror. Words are definitely more powerful than some people think. I think everyone is guilty of throwing around words carelessly, that they know they probably should have just kept inside. But on the other hand, words can be tremendously helpful. They can turn a day and even a person around in an instant.

But that quote, is the theme song for my burning desire to actually follow through with studying abroad in Italy. It's one thing talking about this opportunity, but actually going to Europe and being there soaking in the culture is such a heartwarming thought. There are a few obstacles to climb over before actually committing for spring semester 2012. But since i've been putting most of my paychecks into the bank since sophmore year of high school, financial obstacles shouldn't be as much of a problem. And since I took a few dual enrollment courses from our local community college in high school, losing a few GE credits shouldn't be much of a setback. Anyways, for now i'm just building more excitement reading different blogs from college students raving about their experience in the beautiful Italy, and trying my best to get an A in italian 101.

Ciao !
